Have Look On New Types Of Truck

2006 truck models have been available for awhile now but most of us haven’t paid a lot of attention unless we’ve actually been in the market for a new truck. But from small size trucks to large trucks there’s some interesting trucks in the 2006 lineup.

Isuzu truck has introduced the new I280 which is a two door 2WD model with an extended cab, 4 cylinder inline 2.8 liter engine that puts out 175HP and has a maximum payload of 1522 pounds. Comes standard with a 5 speed manual transmission but the 4 speed automatic is available. There are three optional safety packages available. This truck is starting at just over the $14,000 price tag.

The Isuzu I350 is also new to the truck market. It’s a four door, 4WD with crew cab. Comes with the 1-5 3.5 liter that puts out 220 HP and it has a maximum payload of 1190 pounds and a towing rating of 4000 pounds. It comes standard with a 4 speed automatic transmission. It has several upgrades available including 6 disc CD player, power heated seats, and leather seats. It also has a variety of option packages. This truck is starting at just under the $25,000 price range.

The Mitsubishi Rider offers a V6 3.7 liter engine with 210 HP or a V8 4.7 liter engine with 230 HP. The 4.7 liter is said to be a leader in this class. The truck is available with an extended cab that have quite small doors for access or a s a double cab which has 4 full size doors. It’s available in either 2WD or 4WD with either a 6 speed manual transmission, 4 speed automatic or a 5 speed automatic transmission. It has a sports rack and pinion steering so it’s a nice handling truck. It has a tow rating of 6500 pounds. It has a stereo package as an option. This truck is starting at just over the $19,000 price tag.

The Honda Ridgeline is really in a class all by itself. It’s designed with a comfort ride for everyday use but it’s also tough and rugged to keep the boys with their toys happy. It is available only in 4WD which could make it a bit tough on fuel around the city. Comes with a V6 3.5 liter engine with 247 HP. It’s payload is 1550 with an 8.5 cubic foot bed and it has a 5000 pound towing capacity. It comes with 4 full size doors and easily sits 5. It received 5 stars in the government crash tests on both front and side tests. It’s the only pickup in the 4WD class to do this. The dual action tailgate opens down or to the side. This truck is starting at just under the $28,000 price range.

The Dodge Ram truck with Mega Cab is a big truck for big jobs. The Dodge Ram has been around a long time but this is the largest pickup cab ever with a 143.2 cubic feet and 111.1 inches long. Comes with a Hemi V8 5.7 liter engine with 345 HP in a 5 speed automatic. The 5.9 liter Cummins Turbo Diesel has 235 HP and comes with a 6 speed manual transmission. It seats 6 very comfortably and it’s available in 2WD or 4WD. This truck has lots of cab storage as well as the full size box. There are several luxury option packages to choose one. This truck is starting at just under $33,000 in price.

The Chevy Silverado Intimidator SS is a limited edition truck that’s a partnership between Dale Earnhardt and Chevy. It has a racing spoiler, silver front grille, lowered ride, performance suspension, and a V8 Vortec 6000 345 HP engine. This truck is built to look and ride like a sports truck. It even has Dale Earnhardt’s signature on the gauge cluster. Sporty leather seats have the Earnhart logo on them. Plenty of option packages available. This is a truck the young guys are gonna luv but it’s not really much of a work horse.

The Ford Harley Davidson F150 is a limited edition supercab truck with a V8 3 valve 5.4 liter engine 300 HP. It’s got tuned exhaust, smoke out tail lamps, black bumper, and it’s hot! This is a sporty truck that’s got lots of Harley attitude. The huge 22” polished aluminum rims are like the icing on the cake. Black leather front captain’s chairs have the Harley-Davidson logo. This is another truck the young guys are gonna luv but not much of a work truck.
